Sacred Heart School offers parents an array of opportunities to participate in the school community and support their child and the faculty. Sacred Heart Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and the Advisory Council are integral parts of our school. The PTO organizes our fundraising efforts, hosts events for students and their families and is always eager to welcome new families to participate in this important part of our school community. We have 3 playgrounds. The organization certainly completed phase I of the playground renovations for our PK & K playground. They have started raising funds to renovate the other two playgrounds. They also support the staff with classroom stipends and monthly staff luncheons. They arrange for guest speakers during The PTO can be contacted at sheartpto@gmail.com
The Parent Advisory Council assists the principal with setting long-range goals for the schools. The council has five members who participate in the building committee, public relations committee, parish outreach committee, and school safety and security committees. Any parents interested in participating with a committee should contact the principal at bmartin@shsm.org
